Version 1: The Guidebook with the green cover (shown) is the traditional visitor guide. This new custom guidebook for The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel by Lonely Planet offers visitors these features:
- At 4 1/4 by 6 inches, the 144-page pocket-size guide is easily transportable as a trip planning resource.
- Content includes itineraries for specific target segments, a review of top 10 experiences, trip-planning information, transportation details, a calendar of signature special events, regional points of interest, photo highlights, and a pull-out map of the destination.
- A credible look at travel in the destination from the world’s largest travel publisher, the new guidebook was researched and written by Lonely Planet author Adam Karlin. Karlin penned the company’s guide to Miami and the Keys and has covered multiple destinations for Lonely Planet, including Florida; New Orleans; New York; Washington, D.C. and the mid-Atlantic; Kenya; Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei; South India; Botswana and Namibia; and West Africa.
Version 2: The second version of the guidebook with a blue cover contains all the same great features listed above, but eliminates the accommodation listing information. This allows hotels to promote the destination without selling other accommodations. This version of the guide can also be used by meeting planners, tour operators and travel agents.
