The Events Marketing Program is offered through the Lee County Tourist Development Council each fiscal year. The program was established to assist local organizers in promoting their events in Lee County during the off-peak season. The program funding comes from the marketing portion of the tourist tax collections. This program provides reimbursable funding assistance for out of market advertising and promotional efforts to not-for-profit organizations with the ultimate goal of generating additional room-night stays in Lee County hotels.
Lee County non profit agencies that host multiple-day events may be eligible to apply for TDC Event Marketing funds. To learn more about whether your event might be eligible and how this reimbursable funding may be spent, please be sure to attend the application webinar held each spring.
The application cycle for the Events Marketing program opened with a webinar on March 25. Participation in the webinar is mandatory to submit an application.
