2013 - 2016 Strategic Plan

The Visitor & Convention Bureau is proud to present our 2013-2016 Strategic Plan. This plan was created in collaboration with our tourism industry partners and business and civic leaders who gave generously of their time and attention to bring this plan to life.

It is important to note that this plan was a broad-brush, high-level strategic view from which we have developed details in our annual sales and marketing plans over the past few years. Like any long-range plan, it was meant to be a living document that we have continually refined based upon existing resources, ongoing research, measurable program results, and the ever-changing demands of our dynamic marketplace. It certainly has not been gathering any dust in our offices!

We are proud of the inclusiveness with which this plan was developed, and it has successfully served the collective interests of our community. We are in the process of preparing our new strategies for 2017-2020, scheduled for release early next year.
